Early voting for Louisiana’s Nov. 18 general election begins Friday and lasts through Nov. 11, with the exception of this coming Sunday and next Friday, Nov. 10, the state holiday for Veterans’ Day.

Polls will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on early voting days. Every parish has at least one early voting location, a list of which can be found here

Every voter will have three statewide contest on their ballot:

Treasurer: Republican John Fleming and Democrat Dustin Granger
Attorney General: Democrat Lindsey Cheek and Republican Elizabeth Murrill
Secretary of State: Democrat Gwen Collins-Greenup and Republican Nancy Landry

There are also four constitutional amendments included. Find summaries of those proposals here.

Races for legislative seats, the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education and local elections may also be on voters ballots.
