Steven Procopio is president of the Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana. He joined PAR as policy director in 2014 and was chosen to lead the organization in 2021. He previously served as chief of staff of the Louisiana Division of Administration where he worked on a number of transparency and fiscal issues. Prior to working at the Division, Procopio was the director of research and accountability for the lieutenant governor’s office and the Department of Culture Recreation and Tourism.
