Louisiana Sens. Cassidy, Kennedy push measure that includes $28.6B in disaster aid for areas impacted by extreme weather

The federal spending bill — which will keep government agencies funded at current levels through Dec. 3, and provide $28.6 billion in aid for regions struck by extreme weather — heads to the U.S. House.
